Iulia Mihai is a Vancouver-based Human Resources Manager, management coach and freelance writer. Originally from Romania, her passion for globe-trotting and exploring diverse cultures has brought her to Vancouver, which she now proudly calls home.

For the past 18 years she has worked with large corporations, primarily in the financial services industry, both in Canada and internationally.

Iulia was a volunteer member of the Editorial Committee of PeopleTalk Magazine, the quarterly publication of the BC Human Resources Management Association. During that time, she published articles on topics ranging from developing creativity, spirituality in the workplace, and communication plans to leadership development and talent management. She was also a volunteer board member of the International Coach Federation (Vancouver Chapter).

Apart from a BA in English literature, Iulia’s educational credentials also include a Masters in Organizational Psychology, and the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.
